Classic Burgundy Nails for Fall

The deep wine manicure that defines fall nails. Paint it at home in four easy steps.

What you need

A ridge-filling base coat, a burgundy cream polish, a small brush, nail polish remover and a high-shine top coat.

Step 1: Start with base coat

Start with a ridge-filling base coat so the dark burgundy color goes on smoothly.

Step 2: Two thin coats

Apply two thin coats of burgundy cream polish. Let each layer dry for a couple of minutes.

Step 3: Clean up the edges

Clean up the edges with a small brush dipped in remover. Dark shades show every mistake.

Step 4: Add high shine

Finish with a high-shine top coat. Reapply it every three days to prevent chips.
