Step 1: Paint the base

Paint a sheer pink or milky base on every nail.

Step 2: Two loops, two tails

With a fine detail brush, paint two small loops that meet in the middle. Add two short tails underneath.

Step 3: Dot the knot

Finish each bow with a tiny dot in the center as the knot.

Step 4: Keep some nails plain

Use bows on two or three nails and keep the rest plain pink. A glossy top coat makes it look salon-made.
